Sunday – Arrival in Livorno Link to heading

It’s finally happening! Corsica is calling, and we’re ready for some serious island chill time. But before we can dive into hammock life, we’ve got a sporty little highlight of the day ahead: a 6-hour drive to Livorno. Woohoo! Road trip – with fancy road trip music and endless highway noise.

Once we arrive in Livorno, we check out our Airbnb. Then it’s time to hit the promenade, where we wander until a charming little pizzeria magically lures us in. Smells like adventure—or maybe just gigantic, incredibly delicious pizza. Mmm, just what we needed after a long day of driving.

Stuffed and happy, we drag ourselves back to the Airbnb, where we collapse straight into bed. Good night, Livorno!

Monday – Chill Mode & Ferry Adventures Link to heading

Today’s plan: As little plan as possible. First, a lazy breakfast on the terrace, complete with coffee and all the trimmings. After that, there’s plenty of time for shopping and strolling before heading off to the ferry.

Of course, a good morning like this wouldn’t be complete without some quality coffee. Or two. Or three. Fine, four.

There’s a little bit of excitement, though: Finding the right harbor for the ferry turns out to be a bit of a quest. After some searching and cursing, we finally find it. Now it’s all about waiting and relaxing. First in front of the ferry, then five hours on the ferry. Nothing but sea and time.

Noë is busy knitting a hat—so productive! And me? I’m bravely grinding through a few Pokémon levels. The journey’s only just begun.
